Come celebrate the nation's independence in Yampa!

Events happening on July 3rd:

2:30pm - 4:30pm Historical Walking Tour of Yampa with local historian Rita Herold
   Begins at Yackey Park, behind the Yampa/Egeria Museum

5pm - 7pm  Hometown Picnic @ Yackey Park
    Sponsored by the Historical Society

Events happening on July 4th:

7am - 10:30am   Pancake Breakfast @ Ladies Aid Hall

1pm   Parade - Theme: Out of this World!
    Prizes awarded for -
       Best Float
       Best Antique Vehicle
       Best Decorated Horse and Rider
       Best Kid Costume, under 6
       Best Kid Costume, over 7
       Best Horse Drawn
       Best Adult Costume
       Best Group
    All children participating in the parade will receive a 50 cent piece!

After the parade    BBQ Beef Lunch* and Games for all ages @ Elementary School
    We invite you to participate with booths** to make money for your organization or yourself: flea markets, baked food sales and all types of carnival games.
  

4pm Cowboy Broomstick Polo followed immediately by Calcutta Horse Race 

At dusk   Fireworks!
