Access: Take Highway 131 to Yampa. Follow Moffat Avenue or Main Street to County Road 7. County Road 7 follows the beautiful Bear River and becomes National Forest Primary Road 900 leading you right to the reservoir.

Just beyond the reservoir, you enter the beautiful Flat Tops Wilderness Area.

Storage: 6088 acre-feet
Fish: Brook trout, brown trout, rainbow trout, cutthroat trout, mountain whitefish and mountain sucker
Recreation: Fishing, hiking
Access: Take Highway 131 to Yampa. Follow Moffat Avenue or Main Street to County Road 7. County Road 7 becomes National Forest Primary Road 900. Follow the road past the Yamcolo Reservoir and Bear Lake.
